Ryan Hyde – Owner & Head Coach
Ryan founded Hydeout Fitness with one goal in mind—to create a space where everyone can work towards becoming happier, healthier, and stronger, both physically and mentally. With a BSc Hons in Sports & Exercise Physiology, HND in Sport & Exercise, and qualifications in Level 3 Personal Training, Level 2 Fitness Instructing, and Mental Health Awareness, Ryan is passionate about delivering expert coaching while fostering a supportive community.
For Ryan, training isn’t just about fitness—it’s about mindset. The gym is his happy place, a constant no matter what life throws his way. That’s exactly what he wants Hydeout to be for others—a place where members feel supported, motivated, and part of something bigger.
When he’s not coaching or training, Ryan loves good food, family time, and football. But beware—interrupt his morning coffee, and you might find yourself on extra burpees! He also has no time for hangovers or rude people.
At Hydeout Fitness, Ryan and his team are here to push you, support you, and help you become the best version of yourself.
Darlea McCaffrey – Trainer
With a passion for fitness and a belief in the power of consistency, Darlea is dedicated to helping people achieve their health and wellness goals. With qualifications in Level 2 Fitness Training, Level 3 Personal Training, and indoor fitness instruction, alongside an Honours Degree in Business & Management, she brings both expertise and motivation to every session.
“I qualified as a personal trainer because I want to help motivate people to become the best version of themselves—both physically and mentally. Training for me is an investment in my future. When I train, it’s my time away from work, home, and life—my escape into my happy place. It leaves me feeling energised and gives me a new lease on life, and I want that for others.”
Darlea believes in a balanced approach—moderation, drive, and determination can make anything possible. She’s passionate about educating clients on the importance of exercise and nutrition, ensuring they have the tools to make sustainable changes.
When she’s not coaching, Darlea loves hyrox, spending time with family and friends, enjoying pizza, and the occasional whiskey. Just don’t offer her orange chocolate!

Andrea Kennedy – Trainer
Andrea Kennedy has been a qualified personal trainer since 2018, but her passion for fitness started long before that. A dedicated runner, she has completed an incredible 22 marathons to date, proving that with the right mindset and determination, anything is possible.
Andrea loves to encourage and support clients at Hydeout Fitness, helping them build confidence, strength, and resilience on their journey to achieving their goals. She holds qualifications in studio cycling, circuit training, exercise for children, RT24, and sports massage, making her a well-rounded coach with expertise across multiple areas of fitness.
When she’s not in the gym, Andrea enjoys outdoor activities, surrounding herself with positive people, and unwinding with a glass of red wine and a relaxing hot tub at the weekend. But be warned—she has no time for messy people, bad timekeepers, or cheap coffee!
Glenn Murphy – Trainer
Glenn Murphy has been immersed in the fitness world for years, from playing football at a young age to competing in powerlifting competitions across the country. His experience in strength training fuelled his passion for health and fitness, leading him to turn that passion into a career in 2020. Now, as a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer and Level 2 Fitness Instructor, Glenn is dedicated to helping others become the best versions of themselves through strength, discipline, and smart training.
Glenn believes that fitness should be both effective and enjoyable, tailoring his coaching to help clients push past their limits while still having fun in the process. He’s all about lifting heavy, getting stronger, and making sustainable progress—just don’t ask him to do too much cardio!
Outside the gym, Glenn enjoys a well-earned beer, a good burger, and, of course, lifting barbells. However, he’s not a fan of cardio, hangovers, or heights.

Nicola Maguire – Trainer
Nicola Maguire has been strength training for years, and her passion for lifting led her into Strongwoman training and competitions. For her, the gym is more than just a place to work out—it’s an outlet, a space to clear her mind, get stronger, and connect with like-minded people.
Nicola holds certifications as a Level 2 Fitness Instructor, Level 2 Strength and Conditioning Coach, Level 3 Personal Trainer, and a Qualified Boxfit Instructor. Her goal is to help others change their lives, feel good, and reach their full potential in a safe and supportive environment. She’s also on a mission to educate people on the benefits of lifting weights—because no, strength training won’t make you look bulky, but it will make you feel amazing!
Outside of the gym, Nicola loves country music, jiving, family time, and, of course, deadlifts. However, she has no patience for rude people, dark chocolate, or burpees.
With Nicola on your side, you’ll be lifting stronger, feeling better, and smashing your goals in no time!
Declan Wilson – Trainer
Declan Wilson has been coaching and training at Hydeout for years, working with motivated individuals who are passionate about fitness. He thrives on guiding people toward their goals, no matter what they may be.
For Declan, the gym is more than just a workout space—it’s a place to switch off from distractions, focus on self-improvement, and build both physical and mental resilience. As a coach, his priority is to help people make realistic, sustainable changes because consistency and balance are the keys to long-term well-being.
When he’s not coaching, Declan enjoys rap music, watching football, and spending time with family & friends. But don’t expect to see him doing much cardio, early mornings, or barbell squats—those are definitely on his dislike list!
With Level 3 Personal Training and Level 2 Fitness Instruction qualifications, Declan is here to help you achieve your goals in a way that fits your lifestyle—no fad diets, no quick fixes, just real results.

James Hughes – Trainer
From a young age, sport was everything for James. Whether it was Gaelic, Hurling, or Football, he was always on the pitch, with little interest in anything else—including school and even his college degree.
Like many in the industry, COVID changed everything for James. It took his love for training to a whole new level and made him realise that a career in fitness wasn’t just a dream—it was the best decision he could make. Taking the leap into the fitness industry was a risk, but one he’s never looked back on.
Now, as a Level 3 Personal Trainer, Level 2 Gym Instructor, and Award 1 GAA Coach, James is here to help others find their passion for training and make fitness an enjoyable and fulfilling part of their lives.
When he’s not coaching, James is all about food (good, bad, and ugly), GAA, football, training, Liverpool, music, and the odd night out. But don’t expect to see him ordering Chinese food or up before 6:30 AM—those are definite no-go’s!
If you’re looking for a coach who understands the journey and brings passion to every session, James is your guy.
